1. Who we are

BabyMilk (milkfor.baby) is a free tool that helps parents estimate infant formula feeding amounts. The site is operated independently and can be contacted at the address on our contact page.

2. Data we collect

No personal data is collected by BabyMilk itself. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — age, weight, and feeding amounts you enter are never sent to any server.

Third-party services may collect data if you give consent (see section 4):

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — anonymised usage analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate country). Data is processed by Google LLC under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Google AdSense — serves contextual advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

3. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• cookie_consent (first-party, 1 year) — stores your consent choice for analytics and advertising cookies. Required for the consent banner to work.
• i18n_redirected (first-party, session) — remembers your language preference.
• theme (localStorage, not a cookie) — stores light/dark mode preference.
• Google Analytics / AdSense cookies — only set after you accept consent.

4. Your consent choices

When you first visit BabyMilk, a consent banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can:

• Accept — GA4 and AdSense are loaded and functional.
• Decline — no third-party cookies are set; the calculator works fully without them.

To change your choice, clear your browser cookies for milkfor.baby and the banner will reappear on your next visit.

5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because BabyMilk itself processes no personal data, most of these rights apply to Google's processing of your data. 6. Children's privacy

BabyMilk is designed for use by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
